Ravi Kataria - Founder IIG Group
Ravi Kataria, Founder and Managing Director of the Investment imperative Group, has been instrumental in the foundation and evolution of the group. Ravi has been focusing on strategic decision making, fund management, and investment banking divisions. He has been part of fund investment team, expansion and execution of select transactions including but not limited to Infrastructure, Real Estate, Metals and Mining, Retail and BFSI sectors. He has been on the advisory panel, acting director of various hedge funds, institutions out of US, Europe, and Asia.
Ravi did his Masters in Business Administration with specialization in international finance, investment banking and quantitative finance. Prior to heading Investment Imperative, he has worked with UBS – Bulge Bracket Investment Bank in mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and other strategic fund raising transactions for fortune 500 companies with a transaction value of $500 million and above. He has also been invited as a guest faculty in premier B-Schools (including IIMs, LSE candidates), investment banks, commercial banks and financial institutions in and outside of India. He has also played a major role in forging partnerships as well as executing transactions globally including in countries like China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and the US.
